It’s happening…
After the trip in August, I got back to Amarillo knowing I needed to return. I just didn't know how yet.
Life had other plans. Full-time job, trying to build something on the side — something was always in the way. Then, by the end of the year, the store closed. My boss semi-retired. After breaking my back hauling furniture through a retail closeout, I walked away with enough to actually do this.
In March I found a language school in Bangkok. That was it. Plans locked.
A giant lobster made from Thung Rung bags — Thailand's iconic striped plastic bags. Emsphere Mall, Bangkok.
May 1st. Plane ticket booked. Apartment hunt in progress. Right now it's cleaning, organizing, selling, donating — and saying goodbye to people.
The easy life is not quite here yet. But it's close.
There's still a lot to do — businesses to build, a move to survive, and a whole new life to figure out. I'll be documenting it here and on TikTok. Come watch me figure it out.
