My Journey Plan…
A month ago, I wrote “Starting Is the Hardest Part.” I did start — I streamed, interacted with viewers and took the first step. Now I’m struggling with what comes next. I’m no longer waiting for takeoff — I’m in the journey, figuring out how to keep moving forward.
I’ve never wanted to be where I live now. That feeling hasn’t gone away, but this time I’m doing something about it - for good. I’m creating a path toward the life I actually want — one I can take with me when I finally travel.
I’m shaping it around the things I love — games and space. Elite Dangerous gives me that sense of exploration I’ve always needed: quiet, freedom, discovery. It’s also become my classroom for learning Thai.
I want overlays that show both Thai and English. I want the stations, ships, and menus to come alive in another language. The idea is simple: let the virtual journey across the stars mirror the real one I’m making toward a new life abroad. Every jump, every word, every session connects the two.
Doing all this while working full-time is exhausting. Some nights I just want to switch everything off and escape for a bit — to drift between stars and forget the weight of everything. But even that’s part of the process. Every bit of progress counts, even the quiet kind.
It’s ambitious. Maybe too much at times. I haven’t built all of it yet, but I’m trying — and that has to count for something. I don’t know if anyone will ever watch or if this project will matter to anyone but me.
But I don’t want to fail at this. Because this isn’t just about streaming — it’s about creating a better life. One that feels lighter, freer, and more my own.
My Next Steps
The next phase is small but crucial — all the groundwork that turns an idea into a reality.
Finish programming my StreamDeck.
Create overlays in Thai and English.
Find a text-to-speech setup that can read Thai aloud, so I can hear the words as I play.
Writing Thai will come later. For now, it’s about speaking and listening — building comfort with the sound of the language until it becomes natural.
This is how the journey continues. Not with grand announcements, but through quiet persistence — one word, one system, one jump at a time.
